Volleyball & Football

Shawnee did excellent in her volleyball tournament this past weekend! So much so that one of the coaches jokingly asked her, "So, are you the queen of aces?" :0) It was cool!! She served great! She plays again this Thursday and then on Saturday. Can't wait to watch her again.

Shays varsity team played Friday night and won a great victory. Even though he didnt get any playing time, the game was awesome. He did go to a JV game tonight and played great! He is getting more & more play time as a running back. He is pretty much counted on by the team to get yards and does a good job of doing so.

I have been busy having a husband at home for awhile. What an awesome thing to have Jeff around for a bit, even though he gets antsy to get back to work. It is nice to have that extra help with the kids and house.

New Blog!

Since everyone is doing a blog now days, thought I'd better jump on the bandwagon and get myself one going!

The kids are now just starting their actual games of their sports seasons. Shay made varsity as a freshman in football! We traveled to Fort Benton this past Friday night for a nonconference game and the team won 19-15. It was exciting! Even though Shay did not get to play, just him making varsity is exciting for him. He will get to play, just not in a close game. Ahhh....the perils of being a freshman on varisty! You have to have your time to ride the pine!

Shawnee kicks off her volleyball season game this Tuesday. I will not get to attend that game but Jeff will. I have to attend a conference in Great Falls on Tuesday and Wednesday. I will be waiting on pins & needles to see how she does.
